Our Hong Kong Roots
The name "Gangli" reflects our team's deep roots in the Hong Kong university research system: core members have long been based in Hong Kong, building laboratory strength in pathogen molecular biology, pharmaceutical formulation and food nutrition, spanning basic research, technology validation and translation. GL Biopharm is the industrial extension of this research lineage.

Chief Scientific Officer
PhD in Microbiology. Over 10 years of antimicrobial resistance research at Hong Kong and overseas institutes, with 30+ SCI publications.
Dr. Chen Xi
Director of Drug Discovery
PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Led multiple candidates from hit discovery to preclinical development.
Dr. Wong Ka-yan
Head of Vaccine Platform
PhD in Immunology. Specialised in novel antigen design and adjuvant systems; led multiple joint immunogenicity programmes.
Mr. Zhou Wenxuan
Director of Regulatory Affairs
Expert in mainland China and Hong Kong regulatory frameworks for functional food and pharmaceuticals.
